I am sure u refer to cars from the 70 well may be these cars should not be considered as antique or old timers or classics

they should be defined as old cars thats it

for me its like the artificial Ski slopes in Dubai u can ski there and the facilities there are far more better than thoes in Aspen or Lermus but this is by all means not a classic Ski resort

יש בהחלט רכבים שכל דבר שתוסיפי להם את תהיי גורעת במקרה הטוב או מחללת קודש במקרה הרע, אבל יש רכבים במיוחד כאלה שבעלייהם אוהבים להסתובב איתם גם ביום יום שמזגן יכול להוסיף לחווית הנסיעה בהם ומבלי לפגוע משמעותית ברכב.
וכמובן זה הכל עניין של נקודת השקפה של האם הרכב משרת אותנו או אנחנו את הרכב.
ולא הבנתי בדיוק את הנקודה לגבי רכבים משנות ה 70 שאינם אספנות או לא נחשבים כקלאסיים מבחינתך ?
מזגן גם יכול להחשב כשיפור לרכב ונשאלת השאלה אם מבחינתך שיפוריי רכב מקומם אך ורק על רכבים חדשים ?

most of the cars from the 70 are not classic at all, and it has nothing todo with the make or model it is a regular car that in Israel only because it is 30 years old it gets a grandiose definition as a collectable ASFANUT
i agree that every car that is preserved is blessed, however if you put an accessory which was not there and its a real classic than you lose the originality

take an example of the Ford A, which is modified into a Hotrod or a Ratrod it is no longer a classic Ford A it is a hybrid which has a totaly new originality but as a different car
i respect this culture and among thoes Hotrod Ratrod and Streerod there are collectable ones and their price is over 100K $ a piece

if you take a Mercedes from the 70, one of the mass production and u modify it, i could not care less
however if you have a classic one, than in my opinion you are doing harm

Another analogy, the Mona Lisa original portrait by Leonardo Da Vinci - in my eyes this anything but a beautiful lady she has a pale moon face and she is fat
all this can be changed it is enough if u add rose to her fat cheeks u already improved it would this be still regarded as an original portrait?
